Clark is an internationally recognized consultant, speaker, and scholar in the field of learning technology with an extensive publication and presentation record, and has held positions at the University of New South Wales, the University of Pittsburgh's Learning Research and Development Center, and San Diego State University's Center for Research in Mathematics and Science Education. Clark earned a Ph.D. in applied cognitive science from the University of California, San Diego, after working for DesignWare, an early educational software company.
